Grievance Proccess Steps
Grievance is filed locally withing 10 business days from the incident and presented to Station Manager. Management has 5 business days to Denied or Award the grievance and give it back to the Local Rep.
If the Union Rep does not agreed with the decision, the grievance must be submitted to the District Rep who has 10 business days from Management decision to create a Page 2 and appeal the grievance to Labor Relations who has 10 business days to respond.
If the District Rep is not satisfy with the decision, he/she must notify the Company withing 10 business days of the intent to have the Grievance heard at Med/Arb hearing for Disciplinary Grievances or System Board for contractual violations and terminations.
If the System Board deadlocks. The LEB members will vote to withdraw the grievance or request arbitration.
